APPLICATION FEES: A $200 application fee is due at the time you send your application to us. This includes your banner, acceptance package information, plus information you will receive throughout the year. This money is non-refundable and non-transferable.

ENTRY FEE: The ENTRY FEE is $495. A Payment Schedule may be set for your convenience. Check, money order, cashier check, or PayPal is accepted. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Entry Fee includes: Opening Number Dress, DVD and Photo Package (valued at $200), use of Swimsuit cover-up, food, and Delegate / VIP Reception.

OPENING NUMBER DRESS: You will receive your dress once all fees are paid.

SWIMSUIT: You may wear a one or two piece, in a combination of Black and White. No other COLOR can be on the suit; you may have metal embellishment, rhinestones and/or stones. You have a choice of one or two piece. Wraps are provided. Shoes should be clear or the color of your skin. Judging is 25% of your total scoring, it is determined on figure, fitness, posture, grace, elegance, beauty, and confidence.

EVENING GOWN: Floor length gown any color any style. This is 25% of your score and is based on your poise, posture, grace, elegance and overall look, how well your carry yourself, as well as, how well your choice of gown compliments you.

INTERVIEW: Interview suit (May be a pantsuit or skirt suit) or nice business style dress. 50% of your score is based on how well you show the judges your ability to articulate, show confidence, as well as your overall personality and appearance.

TICKETS: All delegates are required to purchase 10 tickets at $35 each. Each adult ticket includes the official Mrs. Kentucky Program Book ($10 value).  Husbands will receive a free ticket.

ADVERTISING: Advertising is required. Information provided in the Mrs. Kentucky official acceptance package.

LOCATION: The Oldham County Arts Center -- Located in Crestwood KY.   The theater is completely handicapped accessible.

HOTEL: To be Announced. All delegates are required to stay both Thursday and Friday night, Saturday is optional.

HAIR AND MAKE-UP: Hair and makeup artist are allowed in the backstage area. The cost is $50 for a backstage pass. Due to space issues, only one person per contestant. Dressing areas will have “dressers” to help with changing. Male make-up/hair artist can not be in the dressing area, but we will have an area for them to work.

PHOTOGRAPHS: First things first, you will need a professional photograph, for the judge’s page and program. Do not worry about the snapshot that you may have sent in with your initial application. Your snapshot is returned to you, but it will not be used for publication purposes. A professional photographer/makeup artist team will be available in Louisville and Lexington. The cost is $400 and includes, Hair, Make-up, all photos with one retouched; you also receive the complete DVD and release, that day to take with you. Contact me if you are interested. WORKSHOP: There will be a Workshop (Date to be announced). This workshop is not mandatory and only benefit you. We cover interview skills, dressing your body type, stage presences and more. The cost is $50 and includes lunch.
